Cancer-killing Stem Cells

An article in the BBC under Health News shares "Cancer-killing stem cells engineered in lab". This article explains how medical researchers from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital are doing animal testing on Brain Cancer with genetically engineered stem cells with promising results.

The method involves implanting stem cells when some of the Cancer is surgically removed. The stem cells being used kill Cancer cells without damaging Brain Matter.

Maybe this is the future of partial tumor removal for NF2, to save the nerves a tumor may be growing near or even on.
